Description
A single-light cord pendant with a matte black finish and mercury glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Cone collection brings a modern industrial aesthetic with its architectural details and striking cone-shaped shade. The matte black metal frame is paired with a hand-blown mercury glass shade, creating a unique, reflective look. The pendant includes 120 inches of textured cord that can be cut to your desired length, and it is sloped ceiling compatible.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways or foyers, adding a statement piece
- Damp locations, such as covered patios or bathrooms
Not ideal for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 feet) if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Spaces requiring bright, focused task lighting, as the shade directs light downward but may not be sufficient for detailed work
How bright is it?
The fixture accepts up to a 100W bulb (not included). With a typical 60W incandescent bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens, which is suitable for ambient and accent lighting. For a brighter output, use an LED bulb with higher lumens.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, warm glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness. The matte black finish adds an industrial touch.
Sizing and fit
The shade measures 10 inches in diameter and 11 inches high. The overall fixture height is 11.75 inches, with a minimum hanging height of 15.5 inches and maximum of 132.5 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
