Description
A six-light chandelier from the Newton Bell collection, finished in satin nickel with white glass bell shades, for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Newton Bell collection brings modern industrial style with classic bell-shaped shades. The delicately curved glass shades complement the clean lines of this restoration-inspired fixture. Hand-blown glass and a satin nickel finish give it a refined yet rugged look, perfect for adding character to a variety of spaces.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 60-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task and ambient lighting over a 48-60 inch island
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture is needed
- Farmhouse or industrial-style interiors with exposed brick, wood, or metal accents
- Rooms with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 22.75 inches
- Spaces requiring a flush mount or close-to-ceiling installation
How bright is it?
With six sockets rated for up to 100 watts each, this chandelier can produce up to 600 watts of incandescent light (bulbs not included). For LED bulbs, the brightness depends on the bulb chosen; a typical 9W LED (800 lumens) per socket would give a total of 4800 lumens, enough to light a large dining room or kitchen island. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use 2700K-3000K bulbs. The white glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 26 inches in diameter and 16 inches in height. The hanging height is adjustable from 22.75 to 46.75 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch). The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is suitable for rooms with ceilings at least 8 feet high, and the included 90-degree swivel allows installation on sloped ceilings.
