Description
A 26-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Newton Bell Collection, finished in polished nickel with light smoke glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Newton Bell Collection brings modern industrial style with classic bell-shaped shades. The delicately curved glass complements the clean lines of this restoration-inspired fixture. The polished nickel finish and light smoke glass create a refined, vintage look that suits both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 5-7 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter for ambient and task light
- Dining rooms with tables seating 4-6, centered over the table for a warm gathering glow
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture defines the space
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 9 ft or higher, making a dramatic first impression
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp locations, not wet
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is about 22.75 in
- Spaces needing bright task lighting, as the 6 included bulbs are accent-grade
How bright is it?
With 6 bulbs at 600 lumens each, the total output is approximately 3600 lumens - comparable to a 240W incandescent equivalent. This is ample for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms, but not a replacement for focused task lighting.
Light color and feel
The recommended bulbs emit 2700K warm white light, a soft golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. This flatters skin tones and warm wood or brass interiors. With a CRI of 82, colors render naturally, making it suitable for dining and living areas.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 26 inches wide and 16 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 22.75 to 46.75 inches. It is suitable for rooms with ceilings 8 ft or higher. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 lbs.
