Description
A three-light arched island pendant from the Newton Bell collection, finished in satin nickel with mercury glass bell shades - a modern industrial statement for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Bell collection blends architectural details with classic bell-shaped shades. The delicately curved glass shades complement the clean lines of this restoration-inspired line. This pendant is the ultimate choice for a kitchen light that combines functionality with contemporary design. The hand-blown glass shades are easily removed with the included oversized thumbscrews for easy cleaning.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung in a row or as a single statement piece
- Dining rooms over a rectangular table, providing focused ambient light
- Open-concept living areas where industrial style meets modern comfort
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
- Farmhouse or restoration-vintage interiors seeking a warm, characterful glow
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways - this is a large, statement fixture meant for open spaces
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
- Spaces where a flush mount or semi-flush is required - this is a hanging pendant
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to 100W (incandescent), so with three bulbs you can achieve substantial brightness. Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose - for a warm, inviting glow, we recommend 60W equivalent LED ST64 bulbs (not included).
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a cozy dinner setting. The color temperature will depend on the bulbs you select; we recommend 2700K-3000K for a warm, inviting feel.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 41 inches wide, 10 inches deep, and 16 inches high. The hanging length is adjustable from 23 to 47 inches using the included stems (two 6-inch and four 12-inch). The canopy is 8.25 inches wide and 4.38 inches deep. This fixture is best for ceilings 8 feet or higher.
