Description
A 10-inch cord pendant from the Newton Bell collection, finished in brushed brass with a mercury glass bell shade, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
This modern industrial pendant features a classic bell-shaped shade with delicate curves, complementing the clean lines of this restoration-inspired line. The hand-blown glass shade is easily removed for cleaning, and the 120-inch textured cord can be cut to your desired length. It's the ultimate choice for a kitchen light that combines functionality with contemporary design.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing focused light over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a warm welcome with a vintage-inspired glow
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Bedrooms and reading nooks, as a stylish accent light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop - the minimum hanging height is 15.5 inches
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - at 100W max, it's best for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (not included). With a 100W incandescent equivalent, it provides ample light for task areas. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light beautifully, creating a soft, ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 10"(L) x 10"(W) x 11.75"(H). The shade is 10"(D) x 10"(W) x 12.5"(H), and the canopy is 4.5"(D) x 4.5"(W) x 0.75"(H). Height adjusts from 15.5 to 132.5 inches, making it suitable for a variety of ceiling heights. Sloped ceiling adaptable.
