Description
A single-light dome pendant with a natural fiber shade and matte black metal frame, featuring a cord hang for flexible placement, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
From the Natural Ballston Dome Collection, this pendant combines a matte black canopy and cord with a warm, textured natural fiber shade. The dome shape and cord hanging create a casual, farmhouse feel that suits country cottage and rustic lodge interiors. The 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length, offering flexibility for various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms with a round or rectangular table, centered above for ambient light
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, adding a cozy, rustic touch
- Entryways and stairwells, providing a warm welcome with a natural texture
- Living rooms with sloped ceilings, thanks to the included swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Rooms where you prefer a sleek, modern look over a rustic farmhouse aesthetic
How bright is it?
With a single 100W max bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1600 lumens with a 100W equivalent LED - enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or ambient light in a dining area. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent bulb.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade diffuses light, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. Choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K for a cozy, farmhouse feel. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness from bright task lighting to a gentle evening glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 11.75" W x 11.75" D x 14.2" H, with a hanging height adjustable from 11.88" to 128.88" using the included 120-inch cord. The circular canopy is 4.88" in diameter. This pendant suits rooms with 8-12 ft ceilings; the cord can be cut to fit.
