Description
A 48-inch wide, 4-light island pendant from Innovations Lighting, finished in polished nickel with natural fiber dome shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Natural Ballston Dome collection brings a farmhouse and rustic lodge feel to your home. The sleek polished nickel frame contrasts beautifully with the natural fiber shades, creating a warm, inviting glow. This pendant is ideal for adding both style and function to larger spaces, and its adjustable stems allow for a customized hanging height.
Best for
- Kitchen islands measuring 6 to 8 feet long, providing ample task lighting over the countertop
- Dining rooms with a table seating 6 to 8 people, hung 30 to 36 inches above the table
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light is needed to define the space
- Farmhouse, country cottage, or rustic lodge interiors that embrace natural materials
- Rooms with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens or islands under 4 feet long, as the 48-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Bathrooms or outdoor covered areas if you prefer a fixture rated for wet locations, though this is damp-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 14.75 inches and may be too low
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four 100-watt max bulbs (not included) for a total of up to 400 watts. With LED bulbs, you can achieve 4000-5000 lumens, which is very bright and suitable for primary lighting in a kitchen or dining room. The actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The light color is determined by the bulbs you select. For a warm, cozy feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The natural fiber shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient glow that flatters the space. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 10.38 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 14.75 to 38.75 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. This pendant is best for rooms with ceilings at least 8 feet high.
