Description
A 16-inch dome mini pendant with a natural fiber shade and brushed satin nickel finish, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Natural Ballston Dome mini pendant brings a farmhouse or rustic lodge feel to any space. Its dome-shaped natural fiber shade diffuses light warmly, while the brushed satin nickel metal frame adds a sleek, modern touch. With a 120-inch cord that can be cut to length, it adapts to various ceiling heights and sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for warm, inviting meals
- Entryways and foyers, as a statement piece with a natural texture
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, providing focused light over a counter or table
- Living rooms with high ceilings, used as a decorative accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but it's best used as ambient or accent lighting in larger rooms.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade creates a warm, diffused glow that flatters wood tones and earthy palettes. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to soft and intimate. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer for best results.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 15.75 inches in diameter and 16.2 inches in height, with a hanging height adjustable from 11.88 to 128.88 inches. It works well over kitchen islands (typically 36 inches high) or dining tables, and is compatible with sloped ceilings.
