Description
A 7.5-inch dome mini pendant in satin gold with a natural fiber shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
The Natural Ballston Dome mini pendant brings a warm, farmhouse touch to any space. Its satin gold metal frame and natural fiber dome shade create a cozy, organic look that pairs well with rustic and cottage décor. The included stems allow for customizable hanging lengths up to 30 inches, and the 90-degree swivel makes it adaptable to sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Living rooms and reading nooks, as a decorative accent
- Farmhouse, country cottage, and rustic lodge interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is a mini pendant with a 100W max bulb
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb used; the fixture accepts up to a 100W incandescent equivalent. For reference, a 100W incandescent bulb produces about 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. The color temperature is determined by the bulb; for a cozy feel, choose a warm white (2700K-3000K) LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.5 inches long by 7.5 inches wide by 10.13 inches high. With the included stems, the hanging height can range from 14.88 to 38.88 inches. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the shade is 7.5 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches high. This mini pendant works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and in entryways.
