Description
A compact dome semi-flush mount with a black antique brass frame and natural fiber shade, perfect for entryways and hallways that need warm, inviting light.
The Natural Ballston Dome collection blends farmhouse charm with modern simplicity. The black antique brass finish and natural fiber shade create a rustic yet refined look that complements country cottage and lodge interiors. This flush-mounted fixture is easy to install and adds a cozy glow to any room.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome and enough light to see clearly
- Hallways and corridors, where its compact size fits snugly against the ceiling
- Bedrooms and living rooms with low ceilings, as it mounts flush to the ceiling
- Farmhouse, country cottage, and rustic lodge style interiors
- Damp locations like covered porches or bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Large open spaces needing bright, widespread light, as it's a single 100W bulb fixture
- Wet locations like uncovered outdoor areas, as it's only damp-rated
How bright is it?
With a single 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1,600 lumens if using a 100W-equivalent LED bulb, which is comparable to a standard ceiling light. It's bright enough for entryways and hallways, but not for large rooms.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, warm glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb; for a cozy, farmhouse feel, use 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 7.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches in height, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. It's ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher, and its compact size makes it suitable for small to medium rooms.
