Description
A 7-inch dome wall sconce from the Natural Ballston Dome collection, finished in matte black with a natural fiber shade - a farmhouse-style accent light for hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces.
The Natural Ballston Dome sconce combines a matte black metal frame with a natural fiber dome shade, creating a warm, organic look that fits farmhouse, country cottage, and rustic lodge interiors. The heavy cast backplate adds durability, and the damp-rated construction allows use in bathrooms and covered outdoor areas. It's hardwired and dimmable, offering flexible ambiance.
Best for
- Hallways and staircases, mounted at eye level for warm accent lighting
- Bedrooms, as bedside reading lights flanking the bed
- Bathrooms with a vanity, mounted above mirrors for even illumination
- Living rooms and dens, as accent lighting to highlight artwork or architectural features
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - 100W incandescent equivalent is accent-level light
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 8.38 inches from the wall
- Modern or minimalist interiors, if the farmhouse style doesn't fit
How bright is it?
With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this sconce provides about 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting like reading or grooming, but not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, cozy glow. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance. Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose.
