Description
A 26-inch, six-light chandelier from the Newton Bell collection, finished in matte black with clear glass bell shades - a modern industrial statement for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Newton Bell brings architectural detail to a classic bell silhouette. Each hand-blown glass shade is suspended from a matte black frame, creating a sculptural look that suits industrial, farmhouse, and restoration-vintage interiors. The adjustable stem lengths let you customize the hanging height to fit your space.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 48-60 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchen islands, centered over a 6-8 foot island for task and ambient light
- Open-concept living areas where a sculptural fixture anchors the room
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 9 feet or higher
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - the included 90-degree swivel allows angled mounting
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a 26-inch fixture would overwhelm the space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 46.75-inch hanging length
- Spaces requiring a flush mount - this is a stem-hung chandelier
How bright is it?
With six sockets rated for 100 watts each, this chandelier can deliver up to 600 watts of incandescent light - roughly 8,000 lumens if using 100W bulbs, enough to brightly illuminate a large dining room or kitchen. Using lower-wattage or LED bulbs will reduce brightness for a softer ambiance.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a bright, sparkling effect. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a cozy dinner setting.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 26 inches wide, 26 inches deep, and 16 inches high. With the included stems, the hanging height adjusts from 22.75 to 46.75 inches. The round canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. Ideal for rooms with ceilings 8 feet or higher.
