Description
A 10-inch dome pendant from the Newton Bell collection, finished in satin nickel with a mercury glass shade, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Bell is a modern industrial collection that incorporates exceptional architectural details and a classic bell-shaped shade. The delicately curved glass shade complements the clean lines of this restoration-inspired line of fixtures. This pendant is the ultimate choice for a kitchen light that combines functionality with contemporary design.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over prep areas
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers with 9-10 ft ceilings, hung to draw the eye upward
- Open-plan living areas where a statement fixture defines the seating zone
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 42.5-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. The fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for ambient and task lighting in a kitchen or dining area.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 10 inches wide and 14.75 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 18.5 to 42.5 inches using the included 6-inch and two 12-inch stems. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. Suitable for sloped and vaulted ceilings thanks to the 90-degree swivel.
