Description
A 16-inch wide, two-light bath vanity light in brushed brass with natural fiber dome shades, perfect for farmhouse-style bathrooms.
The Natural Ballston Dome collection brings a rustic, organic feel to your bathroom. The brushed brass finish and natural fiber shades create a warm, textured look that complements farmhouse, country cottage, and rustic lodge décor. The heavy cast backplate ensures durability, and the horizontal orientation is ideal for mounting above a vanity mirror.
Best for
- Bathrooms above a 24-36 inch vanity, providing even task lighting
- Powder rooms, adding a warm, inviting glow
- Farmhouse-style interiors, complementing wood and neutral tones
- Hallways and entryways, as a decorative light source
- Covered outdoor areas, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Modern or minimalist spaces, as the natural fiber shades have a rustic look
- Those seeking a bright, primary light for large rooms, as it uses two bulbs (max 100W each)
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With two 100W incandescent bulbs, it produces about 3200 lumens, similar to two 100W bulbs. LED equivalents can provide similar brightness with less energy. It's suitable for task lighting in bathrooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs. For a warm, cozy feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The natural fiber shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The vanity light measures 16 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 11.25 inches high. It extends 8 inches from the wall. The backplate is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It works well above a 24-36 inch vanity with 8-10 ft ceilings.
