Description
A 7-inch wall sconce with a natural fiber dome shade and brushed brass backplate, perfect for bedrooms and hallways.
The Natural Ballston Dome wall sconce brings a warm, organic feel to any space. The natural fiber shade diffuses light beautifully, creating a cozy ambiance. The brushed brass backplate adds a touch of elegance, making it a versatile piece for farmhouse, cottage, and rustic interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light
- Hallways and corridors, providing soft ambient light
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or sofa
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome
- Dining rooms, creating an intimate atmosphere
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas, as it is not damp-rated
- Spaces needing bright, focused task lighting, as it uses a single 100W bulb
- Rooms with very high ceilings, as it is a wall sconce
How bright is it?
With a 100W incandescent bulb, this sconce can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a 100W bulb. However, the natural fiber shade diffuses light, so it's best for ambient lighting rather than task lighting.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade creates a warm, diffused glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to create the perfect mood. For a warm, inviting light, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 7.5 inches wide, 8.38 inches deep, and 11.25 inches tall, with a rectangular backplate of 4.5 by 6.25 inches. It extends 8.38 inches from the wall, making it suitable for hallways and rooms with adequate space.
