Description
A nine-light teardrop pendant from the Milan Collection, finished in brushed brass with light smoke glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Milan pendant reinvents the classic teardrop form with contemporary shapes and modern metal accents. Each heavy glass bulb is held in place by a metal band with heavily detailed screws, suspended from a tapered frame. The brushed brass finish adds a warm, vintage-inspired touch, while the light smoke glass softens the glow.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung in a row for even task and ambient light
- Dining rooms with a table seating 6-8, centered above the table
- Open-plan living areas where a sculptural statement piece is wanted
- Stairwells or two-story foyers with high ceilings, using the adjustable cord
- Covered patios or sunrooms, rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
- Low ceilings under 8 feet - the minimum hanging height is about 34 inches
- Spaces needing a single bright task light - this is a multi-bulb ambient fixture
How bright is it?
With nine 100-watt sockets, the fixture can produce up to 9,000 lumens if fully loaded with 100W incandescent bulbs - enough to brightly light a large kitchen or dining area. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; LED bulbs will use less energy while providing similar light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The light smoke glass shades diffuse the light slightly, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient effect. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and lively to intimate.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 18.5 inches wide and 20.25 inches high, with a canopy of 17.75 inches. The cord is 120 inches long and can be cut to fit your ceiling height, allowing a hanging range of 33.88 to 141.88 inches. Ideal for ceilings 9 feet and higher.
