Description
A four-light linear pendant with teardrop glass shades and a brushed satin nickel finish, designed for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Milan pendant reinvents the teardrop form with contemporary shapes and modern metal accents. The heavy glass bulbs are held in place by metal bands with heavily detailed screws, suspended from a tapered frame. This dramatic silhouette adds an Art Deco touch to any space. The brushed satin nickel finish and clear glass create a sleek, sophisticated look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the countertop
- Dining room tables, providing even illumination across the table surface
- Open-plan living areas where the linear shape complements a long counter or table
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as the fixture is sloped ceiling compatible
- Homes with an Art Deco or contemporary aesthetic
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small kitchens under 8 feet wide, as the 48-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 34 inches
How bright is it?
With four sockets rated for up to 100 watts each, this pendant can deliver substantial brightness. Using 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 3,600 lumens - enough to illuminate a large kitchen island or dining table. For a softer ambiance, use lower-wattage bulbs or a dimmer.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The clear glass shades let the bulb's color temperature shine through - choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, inviting glow, or cool white (4000K) for a more energetic feel. The glass diffuses light gently, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 48 inches wide by 4.38 inches deep by 20.25 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 33.88 to 141.88 inches using the included 120-inch cord, which can be cut to your desired length. The canopy is 48 inches long, and the fixture weighs 34.6 pounds. Suitable for ceilings at least 8 feet high.
