Description
A four-light linear pendant from the Milan Collection, finished in polished nickel with light smoke glass shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Milan pendant reinvents the classic teardrop form with contemporary shapes and modern metal accents. Each heavy glass bulb is held in place by a metal band with heavily detailed screws, suspended from a tapered frame. The fixture features a single filament bulb per shade, creating a dramatic silhouette that suits Art Deco and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms over a 6-8 ft table, providing ambient and accent light
- Open-plan living areas where a sculptural fixture defines the space
- Sloped ceilings, as the fixture is sloped ceiling compatible
- Damp locations such as covered patios or sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a 48-inch-wide fixture would overwhelm the space
- Spaces with low ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 33.88 in
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, due to the size and open design
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), so with four bulbs you can achieve up to 1600 lumens per bulb (if using 100W equivalent LEDs), making this a bright primary light source for large areas. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust from bright task lighting to a warm, ambient glow. The light smoke glass shades diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, inviting atmosphere. Color temperature is determined by the bulbs you select; warm white (2700-3000K) complements the polished nickel and smoke glass beautifully.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48.13 inches wide, 4.38 inches deep, and 20.25 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 33.88 to 141.88 inches. It includes 120 inches of textured cord per pendant, which can be cut to your desired length. The canopy is 5.38 x 48 x 1.63 inches, and the fixture weighs 34.6 lbs.
