Description
A 1-light teardrop pendant with mercury glass and satin nickel accents, for kitchen islands and dining rooms, adding a dramatic Art Deco silhouette.
The Milan pendant reinvents the classic teardrop form with a contemporary shape and modern metal accents. The heavy glass bulb is held by a metal band with detailed screws, suspended from a tapered frame. The mercury glass shade creates a reflective, glamorous effect, while the satin nickel finish keeps it versatile.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over the table for a dramatic focal point
- Entryways and foyers with high ceilings, using the adjustable cord to hang at the right height
- Breakfast nooks and bar areas, adding a touch of Art Deco elegance
Not ideal for
- Spaces with very low ceilings (minimum hanging height is 24 inches)
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts up to a 60W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED). This is suitable for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The mercury glass shade diffuses and reflects light, creating a soft, sparkling effect. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 4.38 inches wide and 20.63 inches high, with a hanging height adjustable from 24 to 141 inches. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. This compact size works well over islands and tables.
