Description
A 4-inch teardrop pendant with a hand-blown seedy glass shade and brushed brass frame, perfect for adding a touch of Art Deco elegance to kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Milan pendant reinvents the classic teardrop form with contemporary shapes and modern metal accents. The heavy glass bulb is held in place by a metal band with heavily detailed screws, suspended from a tapered frame. Featuring a single filament bulb, this pendant creates a dramatic silhouette that works beautifully in a variety of settings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task lighting over a counter
- Dining rooms, providing a warm, ambient glow above a table
- Entryways and foyers, making a stylish first impression
- Living rooms and reading nooks, as a decorative accent light
- Bedrooms, flanking the bed as a stylish alternative to table lamps
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need the full 120-inch cord, as it can be cut to fit
- Areas requiring bright, task-level illumination, as this is an accent light
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a 60W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W bulb, expect about 800 lumens - enough for ambient or accent lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified, but the seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer switch, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 4.38"(L) x 4.38"(W) x 20.63"(H). The pendant hangs from a 120-inch cord that can be cut to your desired length, with a minimum height of 24 inches and maximum of 141 inches. The canopy is 4.75" in diameter. Suitable for sloped ceilings.
