Description
A single-light wall sconce with a mercury glass globe shade, finished in brushed satin nickel, for hallways and bedrooms.
This Innovations Lawton Sphere sconce is a modern update to a classic design, featuring a sleek glass holder collar and a hand-blown mercury glass globe. The brushed satin nickel finish and minimalist silhouette make it a versatile accent for contemporary and transitional interiors. Mount it up or down to suit your space.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to create a warm, inviting path of light
- Bedrooms, placed beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for a balanced look
- Damp locations like bathrooms, rated for damp use
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas or spaces with direct water exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings - the sconce extends 8 inches from the wall, so ensure adequate clearance
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. The fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. We recommend a 60W equivalent LED bulb for a warm, ambient glow.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light with a soft, silvery glow, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - we recommend 2700K-3000K for a cozy feel. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 8 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 8.63 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. It mounts to a 4.5-inch round backplate and can be oriented up or down. Ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces.
