Description
A compact 8-inch wall sconce from the Lawton Sphere Collection, finished in brushed brass with a light smoke glass globe - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and powder rooms.
This modern update to the timeless Newton design features a sleek glass holder collar and refined details. The globe-shaped, hand-blown glass shade diffuses light softly, while the brushed brass metal frame adds a warm, sophisticated touch. The minimalist silhouette suits contemporary and restoration-style interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, mounted up or down
- Hallways and corridors for ambient accent lighting
- Powder rooms and bathrooms (damp-rated) flanking a mirror
- Living rooms to highlight artwork or architectural details
- Entryways for a warm welcome
Not ideal for
- Large open spaces needing primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a room's main source
- Outdoor uncovered areas - rated for damp locations only, not wet
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), expect a warm, moderate glow suitable for accent and ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting feel, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The light smoke glass shade softens and diffuses the light, creating a gentle, flattering glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 8"(L) x 7"(W) x 8.63"(H) with an 8" extension from the wall. The circular backplate is 4.5" in diameter. Compact enough for tight spaces, this sconce works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
