Description
A 2-light bathroom vanity light with globe-shaped gloss white glass shades and a brushed satin nickel finish, offering a modern update to a timeless design.
The Lawton Sphere collection is a modern update to the timeless Newton design, featuring a sleek glass holder collar and refined details. The minimalist design, with its clean lines and sophisticated finish, is perfect for contemporary vanity lighting. The globe-shaped shades are hand-blown and provide a soft, diffused light.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms where you want a clean, modern look
- Dressing areas or makeup stations that need bright, even illumination
- Hallways or entryways with a damp-rated fixture requirement
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms under 4 feet wide - the 16-inch width may be too large
- Outdoor uncovered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
How bright is it?
With two 100-watt incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can deliver up to 3,000 lumens - bright enough for primary bathroom lighting. If you use LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness with lower wattage. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light level to suit your mood.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The gloss white glass shades diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, even illumination that flatters skin tones.
Sizing and fit
This fixture measures 8 inches long, 15.5 inches wide, and 9.63 inches high. It is designed for wall mounting with a 2mm heavy cast backplate. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It is rated for damp locations, making it suitable for bathrooms. The fixture can be mounted with the shades pointing up or down.
