Description
An 8-inch wall sconce from the Lawton Bell collection, finished in satin nickel with a clear glass bell shade, ideal for bathrooms and hallways.
This collection is a modern update to the timeless Newton design, offering a sleek glass holder collar and refined details. The minimalist design is perfect for contemporary vanity lighting with its clean lines and sophisticated finish. The clear glass shade showcases the vintage-style ST64 bulb, adding a warm, industrial touch.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted on either side of the mirror for task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level for ambient lighting
- Bedrooms as reading sconces beside the bed
- Entryways and foyers, flanking a mirror or artwork
- Covered porches and patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces where you need a primary light source - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting at a vanity or accent lighting in a hallway. With LED bulbs, you can achieve similar brightness using less energy.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade and open design allow the bulb to be fully visible, creating a vintage, industrial aesthetic. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood to suit any occasion.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 9 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. It can be mounted up or down, offering flexibility in placement. The backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 3 pounds.
