Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted above the mirror for even task lighting
- Powder rooms, adding a warm, decorative glow
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms (non-shower areas) and covered patios
- Hallways and entryways, as a stylish accent light
- Spaces with a vintage or industrial design theme
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary overhead illumination - this is a task/accent light
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the fixture to hang
- Areas where a fixed, non-adjustable light is preferred
How bright is it?
With three 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 300W total, providing ample light for a bathroom vanity. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; LED bulbs are recommended for energy efficiency.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The color temperature will depend on the bulbs you select; warm white (2700-3000K) is recommended for a cozy feel.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 23 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 11.25 inches high, with a 7-inch extension. The backplate is 4.5 inches square, and each shade is 5 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. It is wall-mounted horizontally and requires partial assembly.
