Description
A 5-inch wide, 1-light semi-flush mount from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in satin gold with a princess blue glass bell shade - designed for entryways and hallways that need a compact, artisanal accent light.
This Edison semi-flush mount is a true game changer, marrying the best of the Franklin and Ballston collections. The satin gold steel and cast brass body is paired with a handblown princess blue glass shade, making each piece unique. The bell-shaped shade adds a vintage, art nouveau touch, while the heavy cast canopy ensures durability. It's a small but striking fixture that brings character to any space.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, mounted at 7-8 feet for a warm welcome
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Small bathrooms or powder rooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Bedrooms as a bedside or reading light
- Art nouveau, industrial, and restoration-vintage interiors
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a main light source
- Sloped ceilings - it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Outdoor uncovered areas - it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
The fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is rated for 100 watts maximum. Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; a standard 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens, but for a softer glow, a 60W equivalent LED is recommended. The handblown glass shade diffuses light beautifully.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The princess blue glass shade adds a unique color accent to the light, casting a subtle tint. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 9.13 inches high. The canopy is 4.5 inches round. It is designed for flush mounting on flat ceilings only - not sloped ceilings. Ideal for small spaces with standard 8-foot ceilings.
