Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount from Innovations Lighting's Edison collection, featuring a Black Antique Brass finish and a hand-blown gloss white glass bell shade - perfect for kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways with a vintage-industrial aesthetic.
This Edison fixture combines the best of the Franklin and Ballston collections, offering versatile design and uncompromising construction. The hand-blown glass shade gives each piece a unique, artisanal look, while the heavy cast canopy adds durability. It's damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas, and it's dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Best for
- Kitchens, especially over islands or breakfast nooks, providing warm ambient light
- Dining rooms, hung over tables for a cozy, intimate setting
- Entryways and foyers, making a stylish first impression
- Bathrooms (damp-rated) near the vanity or tub
- Covered porches or patios, thanks to its damp location rating
Not ideal for
- Large open-concept spaces needing high brightness - this is an accent light, not a primary source
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Direct outdoor exposure to rain or snow - damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used (not included). It accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb, so you can achieve up to 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K LED or incandescent bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance. The hand-blown glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5 inches long by 5 inches wide by 9.13 inches high. The shade is 5 inches in diameter by 6 inches high, and the canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This compact size works well in kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways with standard 8-foot ceilings. Not sloped-ceiling adaptable.
