Description
A 5-inch wide, 1-light semi-flush mount from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in matte black with a seedy glass bell shade - designed for entryways, bedrooms, and hallways that need a compact, industrial-inspired ceiling light.
The Edison semi-flush mount blends the best of the Franklin and Ballston collections into one versatile design. The matte black finish and hand-blown seedy glass shade give it an artisanal, vintage-industrial character. The heavy cast canopy and flush-mounted design make it a great choice for lower ceilings where a pendant would be too tall.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-foot ceilings, providing a warm welcome
- Bedrooms and hallways needing a compact ceiling light that doesn't intrude
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas with low ceilings
- Covered porches and patios - rated for damp locations
- Industrial or restoration-vintage style interiors
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, widespread illumination - 100W max is modest
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Direct outdoor exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
The fixture is rated for a maximum 100W bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED, you can expect around 800 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in a small to medium room, but not a primary light for a large space.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 9.13 inches high. The shade is 5 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. Ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher.
