Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in matte black with a mercury glass bell shade, ideal for entryways and hallways.
The Edison fixture is a true game changer, marrying the best of the Franklin and Ballston collections for versatile design and uncompromising construction. The matte black finish and mercury glass shade create an industrial-inspired look with an artisanal touch, as each hand-blown glass shade is unique.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome with a vintage-inspired glow
- Hallways and corridors, offering ambient light in narrow spaces
- Bedrooms and living rooms, as a space-saving flush mount on lower ceilings
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks, adding a decorative accent
- Stairwells and landings, where a low-profile fixture is needed
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large open-plan areas needing bright, primary lighting - a single 100W bulb is best for accent or ambient light
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this semi-flush mount can produce up to 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, bright enough for ambient lighting in entryways and hallways. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The mercury glass shade diffuses light with a subtle, reflective quality, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. For a classic warm glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The glass is hand-blown, so each shade is unique with subtle variations.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5"(L) x 5"(W) x 9.13"(H). The canopy is 4.5" in diameter. This semi-flush mount is ideal for ceilings at least 8 ft high and works well in entryways, hallways, and bedrooms.
