Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount light with a brushed brass finish and a hand-blown princess blue glass shade, perfect for adding a vintage touch to hallways and bathrooms.
Part of the Bridal Veil Collection, this fixture showcases the artisanal beauty of hand-blown glass, making each piece unique. The brushed brass finish and bell-shaped princess blue glass shade evoke an Art Nouveau aesthetic, blending industrial and restoration-vintage styles. Its compact size makes it ideal for smaller spaces.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing a warm, inviting glow
- Bathrooms and powder rooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Bedrooms and sitting areas, as a decorative accent light
- Kitchens and dining nooks, where a touch of vintage charm is desired
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms or areas needing bright, task-oriented light, as this is a single-bulb fixture
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings, as it is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, but not as a primary light source for large spaces.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K bulb. The princess blue glass shade adds a subtle color tint to the light, creating a unique ambiance. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches wide and 9.13 inches high, with a 4.5-inch canopy. It is designed for standard 8-foot ceilings and requires a minimum ceiling height of about 8 feet. The compact size ensures it won't overwhelm smaller spaces.
