Description
A 5-inch semi-flush mount with a hand-blown light smoke glass shade and antique brass finish, perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
The Bridal Veil collection features artisanal, hand-blown glass that makes each piece unique. The antique brass finish and bell-shaped glass shade create a vintage, art nouveau aesthetic that adds character to any room. This fixture is dimmable and rated for damp locations, offering both style and versatility.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing warm ambient light
- Bedrooms as a primary light source, especially in smaller rooms up to 10x10 ft
- Entryways and foyers, adding a touch of vintage elegance
- Dining areas or breakfast nooks, creating a cozy atmosphere
- Stairwells and landings, where a compact fixture is needed
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Large open-plan living areas over 15x15 ft, as the light output may be insufficient
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, but not as a primary light for large spaces. For lower ambient light, use a 60W equivalent LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, inviting glow. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 5 inches in diameter and 9.13 inches in height, making it ideal for spaces with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The compact size ensures it won't overwhelm smaller rooms, while the 4.5-inch canopy provides a clean, flush installation. It is not suitable for sloped ceilings.
