Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in satin nickel with a mercury glass bell shade, for bedrooms and hallways.
This industrial-inspired sconce combines a steel and cast brass construction with a hand-blown mercury glass shade, giving it a unique artisanal look. The satin nickel finish and mercury glass create a reflective, vintage ambiance that suits Art Nouveau, industrial, and restoration-vintage interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed
- Hallways and corridors, providing accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a welcoming glow
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 7 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. Compatible with a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent or ambient lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb used. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, reflective glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 7"(L) x 5"(W) x 11.25"(H). Extends 7" from the wall. Backplate is 4.5" round. Ideal for walls with standard 8-foot ceilings.
