Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Bridal Veil Collection, finished in polished nickel with a princess blue glass shade - ideal for bedrooms and hallways where you want a unique, artisanal accent light.
This sconce features a hand-blown princess blue glass shade that adds a pop of color and a one-of-a-kind artisanal look. The polished nickel finish on steel and cast brass complements the blue glass beautifully. The bell-shaped shade and round backplate give it a vintage, Art Nouveau-inspired style that suits industrial, restoration-vintage, and eclectic interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Hallways and corridors, placed at eye level to add a unique color accent
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console for balanced lighting
- Dining rooms, used in pairs to create a cozy, intimate atmosphere
- Entryways, mounted above a console table to make a statement
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without protection from rain or moisture
- Spaces where you need bright, task-level illumination - this is an accent light
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect roughly 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent or ambient lighting, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The princess blue glass shade tints the light with a subtle blue hue, creating a distinctive, artistic ambiance. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 11.25 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The round backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter. It works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted vertically.
