Innovations Edison Bridal Veil 1-Light Wall Sconce | Art Nouveau Satin Gold and Light Smoke Glass | Bedroom & Hallway | Model 616-1W-SG-G559-5SM

A 1-light wall sconce from Innovations Lighting's Edison Bridal Veil collection, finished in satin gold with a hand-blown light smoke glass shade - perfect for adding a warm, artisanal glow to bedrooms and hallways.

The Edison sconce combines industrial-inspired design with the elegance of hand-blown glass. The satin gold finish and bell-shaped smoke glass shade create a vintage, artisanal look that stands out without overwhelming the wall. The heavy cast backplate ensures a sturdy mount, and the fixture is dimmable for versatile ambiance.

Best for

• Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed
• Hallways and corridors, providing accent lighting at eye level
• Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
• Dining rooms, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
• Bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction

Not ideal for

• Large rooms where you need a primary light source - this sconce provides accent lighting, not full illumination
• Spaces with a modern minimalist aesthetic - the vintage industrial style may not fit
• Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain - damp-rated, but not wet-rated

How bright is it?

This sconce uses a single bulb (up to 100W incandescent equivalent, not included). With a 100W incandescent bulb, you can expect around 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for task lighting like reading. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage bulb or a dimmer.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulb. For a warm, cozy feel, choose a bulb with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The smoke glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, ambient glow. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.

Sizing and fit

This sconce measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 11.25 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It is wall-mounted and requires partial assembly. Ensure you have a standard junction box for installation.
