Description
A 5-inch one-light wall sconce from the Bridal Veil collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a light smoke glass bell shade - for bedrooms, hallways, and powder rooms that want a vintage industrial accent.
This sconce blends Art Nouveau and industrial styling with a handcrafted feel. The oil rubbed bronze finish on steel and cast brass gives it a rich, aged look, while the light smoke glass shade adds a subtle, smoky tint that softens the light. Each shade is handblown, making every piece unique.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, placed at eye level to guide the way
- Powder rooms and bathrooms with a vanity, adding a vintage touch
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for ambient accent lighting
- Entryways, mounted above a console table to welcome guests
Not ideal for
- Large open spaces needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a room's main source
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain - rated for damp locations only, not wet
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need the fixture to be flush - it extends 7 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard 60W equivalent LED, expect a warm accent glow; with a 100W equivalent, it can serve as a functional reading light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but the light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow with a hint of smokiness. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 11.25 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The round backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter. It works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted vertically.
