Description
A 5-inch wall sconce from the Edison Bridal Veil collection, finished in black antique brass with a glossy white glass shade, for bedrooms and hallways.
This sconce blends industrial-inspired design with art nouveau elegance. The cast brass backplate and steel construction are finished in a rich black antique brass, while the hand-blown glass shade adds a unique artisanal touch. It's a versatile piece that works in both traditional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or ambient accent
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm glow along the wall
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a vintage touch near the door
- Dining rooms, as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the sconce to be flush - it extends 7 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (or compatible LED, fluorescent, or halogen), so it can provide ample light for accent or task purposes. It's dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to your mood.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified, but with a dimmable feature and compatibility with various bulb types, you can choose a warm or cool light to suit your space. The glossy white glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
