Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome
- Dining rooms, creating a cozy atmosphere on a dimmer
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without protection from the elements
- Spaces where a very bright, task-oriented light is needed - this is an accent fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W equivalent LED, you can expect around 800 lumens, suitable for accent or ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, incandescent-like glow, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The princess blue glass shade adds a subtle tint to the light, creating a unique ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 11.25 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. It fits well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted vertically. The round backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter.
