Description
A 5-inch industrial wall sconce with a seedy glass bell shade, finished in antique brass - perfect for bathrooms, hallways, and powder rooms.
The Edison Bridal Veil sconce blends industrial design with artisanal craftsmanship. Its hand-blown seedy glass shade creates a unique, textured look, while the antique brass finish and cast brass construction ensure durability and timeless style. This fixture is part of the Bridal Veil Collection and can be customized with various glass or metal shades.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity, mounted on either side of the mirror for task lighting
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient light and a vintage accent
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Bedrooms as reading sconces beside the bed
- Entryways, flanking a console table for a warm welcome
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this sconce extends 7 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), producing approximately 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, suitable for accent or ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED or dimmable bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting ambiance, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, textured glow that flatters the antique brass finish. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 11.25 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The round backplate is 4.5 inches in diameter. This sconce works well in rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings and can be mounted vertically.
