Description
A 5-inch mini pendant with a hand-blown light smoke glass shade, finished in matte black, for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
Part of the Edison Bridal Veil collection, this mini pendant blends industrial styling with artisanal craftsmanship. The matte black steel and cast brass frame supports a bell-shaped light smoke glass shade, hand-blown for a unique, textured look. It hangs from a 120-inch adjustable cord, making it versatile for various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting over a prep area
- Dining rooms, centered over a small table or breakfast bar
- Entryways or hallways, providing a warm welcome and visual interest
- Coffee bars or home bars, adding industrial charm and focused light
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; it accepts up to a 100W incandescent (or equivalent LED/CFL). For reference, a 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens, which is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island. The fixture itself does not specify a lumen output.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 5 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 9 inches high, with a shade that is 5 inches in diameter and 6 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 13 to 130 inches, thanks to the 120-inch cord. The round canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. It is sloped ceiling compatible, making it suitable for a variety of ceiling types.
