Description
An 8-light chandelier from the Crown Point Collection, finished in satin nickel with light smoke glass shades, designed for dining rooms and foyers.
The Crown Point Collection brings an industrial take on modern sophistication. Cylindrical glass shades sit in an updated restoration-style frame with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The satin nickel finish and hand-blown smoke glass create a refined, vintage-inspired look that anchors a room.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 60-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Two-story foyers and entryways, where the adjustable stem length (up to 30 inches) allows for a dramatic drop
- Open-plan living areas that need a statement light with a warm, ambient glow
- Kitchens with a large island, providing even illumination across the work surface
- Stairwells and landings, thanks to the sloped ceiling adaptable swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch drop - the minimum hanging height is 17.13 inches
- Spaces that require a flush mount - this is a stem-hung chandelier
How bright is it?
With eight 100-watt max sockets, the total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using standard 60W incandescent bulbs, you can expect around 4,800 lumens - enough to serve as the primary light source for a large dining room or foyer. LED equivalents can achieve similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The light color is determined by the bulbs you select. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The smoke glass shades diffuse the light, softening the output and reducing glare, which creates a cozy, ambient atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 35.5 inches wide, 35.5 inches deep, and 10.38 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 17.13 to 41.13 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch). The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This fixture works best in rooms with ceilings at least 9 feet high to allow for a comfortable hanging height.
