Description
An 8-inch flush mount ceiling light with a clear glass globe, finished in satin nickel, for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with low ceilings.
The Crown Point collection brings an industrial edge to modern interiors. This flush mount features a hand-blown clear glass globe set in a satin nickel frame with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. It's a compact, versatile fixture that adds character without overwhelming a room.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light
- Bedrooms, mounted as a central ceiling light in rooms up to 10x10 ft
- Kitchens and dining areas, as a secondary light source over a table or island
- Covered porches or bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft where you need bright, primary illumination
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens. This is suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, not as a primary work light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade provides unobstructed light, making it easy to customize the ambiance.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 8 inches wide and 9.5 inches high, with a canopy of 4.5 inches in diameter. It's ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings, as it hugs the ceiling and doesn't intrude on headroom.
