Description
A 49-inch linear pendant with seven cylindrical glass shades in brushed brass, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Crown Point collection features organic teardrop-shaped glass shades suspended from a tiered metal frame. The brushed brass finish and white glass create a warm, contemporary look that complements both modern and transitional interiors. Each pendant comes with a 10-foot cord that can be trimmed to any desired length, allowing you to hang the shades at the same or staggered heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, providing even task lighting across the countertop
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, hung 30-36 inches above the surface
- Open-concept living areas where a sculptural light fixture serves as a focal point
- Covered patios or porches, as this fixture is damp-rated
- Sloped ceilings, thanks to its adaptable design
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10 feet wide, as the 49-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, due to the metal frame
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 16 inches
How bright is it?
This fixture uses seven 70W incandescent bulbs (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with standard 60W equivalent LEDs, you can expect around 800 lumens per bulb, totaling over 5000 lumens - bright enough for a large kitchen island or dining area.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. With warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K), the light will have a soft, golden glow that flatters wood tones and brass finishes. The white glass shades diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
The overall dimensions are 48.88 inches wide, 5.13 inches deep, and 11.25 inches high. The height can be adjusted from 15.88 to 132.88 inches, making it suitable for ceilings up to 11 feet. The canopy is 48 inches wide, so ensure your junction box is centered appropriately.
