Description
A 7-inch industrial wall sconce with a satin nickel frame and mercury glass shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and powder rooms.
The Crown Point Collection brings an industrial edge to modern sophistication. This sconce features a cylindrical mercury glass shade set in a restoration-style frame with intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The satin nickel finish and hand-blown glass create a vintage yet contemporary look that complements both traditional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Powder rooms and bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork for a balanced glow
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome with a vintage-industrial touch
Not ideal for
- Large open spaces needing primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a room's main source
- Outdoor uncovered areas - damp-rated, but not wet-rated for direct rain exposure
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (or equivalent LED/CFL), which typically produces 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting or a well-lit accent.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a gentle ambiance. Dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 6.5"L x 3.88"W x 10.5"H, with a 6.5" extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5"W x 4.5"H. This compact sconce fits well in tight spaces like hallways or small bathrooms. It can be mounted up or down for flexibility.
