Description
A 39-inch wide, three-light flush mount ceiling light from the Crown Point collection, finished in satin nickel with mercury glass shades - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and other living spaces that need even, ambient light.
The Crown Point collection takes an industrial approach to modern sophistication. Cylindrical glass shades sit in an updated restoration-style frame, with intricate knurling detail on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The satin nickel finish and mercury glass create a vintage yet contemporary look that complements a range of decor styles.
Best for
- Bedrooms 12x14 ft or larger, providing soft ambient light from the ceiling
- Hallways and corridors, mounted flush to the ceiling to avoid obstruction
- Living rooms and family rooms, as a primary light source when paired with other fixtures
- Dining areas, over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement with its industrial design
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated, so it should not be installed in areas that get sprayed directly
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you prefer a flush mount that doesn't hang down - this one is only 10 inches high, so it works in most spaces
How bright is it?
This fixture uses three bulbs (not included) with a maximum of 100 watts per socket. If you use 100W incandescent bulbs, you'll get about 1600 lumens total - roughly equivalent to a single 100W bulb, but spread out for even lighting. For a brighter output, consider LED bulbs, which use less energy and can produce more lumens per watt.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The mercury glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient glow that flatters skin tones and warm interiors. This fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 39.25 inches in length and width, and 10.13 inches in height. It is designed for flush mounting on flat ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This size works well in medium to large rooms, providing ample light coverage.
