Description
A dome-shaped flush mount with seedy glass, ideal for hallways and bedrooms in industrial and modern-contemporary homes.
The Crown Point flush mount from Innovations Lighting combines an industrial aesthetic with modern sophistication. The matte black metal frame features intricate knurling details on the socket, canopy, and finials, while the hand-blown seedy glass dome diffuses light beautifully. This fixture adds character to any ceiling without taking up visual space.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings, providing even ambient light
- Bedrooms, especially over nightstands or dressers, for a warm glow
- Entryways and foyers, making a subtle style statement
- Dining rooms with low ceilings, where a pendant would be too tall
- Covered porches or patios, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting, as it is designed for ambient illumination
- Areas with direct water exposure, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100-watt bulb, this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a traditional 100-watt incandescent bulb. This provides ample light for a medium-sized room, but for larger spaces, consider multiple fixtures.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shade creates a textured, diffused light that softens the glow. With a warm bulb (2700K-3000K), it produces a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 9 inches in length, width, and height, making it compact enough for low ceilings. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is designed for flat ceilings only.
