Description
A 4-inch, 1-light flush mount with a matte black finish and mercury glass shade, ideal for hallways and bedrooms.
Part of the Crown Point Collection, this flush mount features a cylindrical mercury glass shade set in a matte black frame with intricate knurling details on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The hand-blown glass and restoration-vintage style add a touch of industrial sophistication. The 2mm heavy cast canopy ensures durability, and the fixture is damp rated for bathroom use.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient light without taking up space
- Bedrooms with low ceilings, as it mounts flush to the ceiling
- Bathrooms with ventilation, as it is damp rated
- Entryways or foyers, adding a vintage industrial accent
- Spaces with 8-foot ceilings, as it does not hang down
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain or direct water spray, as it is only damp rated, not wet rated
- Large rooms needing bright, primary lighting, as a single 100W bulb may be insufficient
- Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this flush mount can produce up to 1600 lumens, similar to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in hallways, bedrooms, or bathrooms, but not as a primary light for large spaces.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb. For a warm, inviting glow, choose a 2700K-3000K bulb, which complements the matte black and mercury glass finish. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness. Use a standard dimmer compatible with your bulb type.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 4.5 inches wide, 4.5 inches deep, and 9.63 inches high. The shade is 3.88 inches in diameter and 7.13 inches high. It weighs 4 lbs. This compact size works well in tight spaces like hallways or small bedrooms.
