Description
A 12-inch dome pendant from the Crown Point Collection, finished in brushed brass with a seedy glass shade - an industrial-modern piece that suits kitchen islands, dining rooms, and entryways.
The Crown Point pendant combines cylindrical glass with an updated restoration-style frame, featuring intricate knurling on the sockets, canopy, and finials. The hand-blown seedy glass diffuses light beautifully, while the brushed brass finish adds warmth. Includes multiple stems for customizable hanging lengths up to 30 inches.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for even task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement at eye level
- Breakfast nooks or reading corners
- Homes with sloped or vaulted ceilings - includes a 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, widespread illumination - this is a single 100W fixture
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 38.75-inch hanging length
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it is rated for a maximum 100W bulb. With a standard 100W incandescent, expect roughly 1600 lumens - similar to a bright reading lamp, suitable for ambient or task lighting in a focused area.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust from bright task lighting to a warm glow. The seedy glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a soft, inviting atmosphere. Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; a warm 2700K LED is recommended for a cozy feel.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 12 inches in diameter and 11.25 inches high. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing a hanging height range of 14.75 to 38.75 inches. Ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter.
