Description
A 31-light multi-pendant for large kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in polished nickel with white glass shades.
The Crown Point pendant brings an organic teardrop silhouette to a tiered metal frame, each shade holding a single filament bulb for a warm, vintage glow. This multi-port hanging system lets you arrange the pendants at the same or staggered heights, making a grand statement over a long island or dining table. The polished nickel finish and white glass shades create a softer, more diffused light that feels both contemporary and inviting.
Best for
- Large kitchen islands (8 ft or longer) where you want a dramatic, sculptural light source
- Dining rooms with a 10-12 ft table, hung 30-36 in above the surface
- Open-plan living areas that need a statement piece to define the space
- High ceilings (10 ft or more) to accommodate the 20-ft adjustable cords
- Contemporary and Art Deco interiors that appreciate geometric, layered design
Not ideal for
- Small rooms or low ceilings under 9 ft - the 60-inch width and 66-inch height will overwhelm
- Spaces where you need a single, compact light source rather than a multi-pendant cluster
- Installations where the 190-lb weight is a concern - ensure your ceiling can support it
How bright is it?
With 31 bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce substantial light. Using 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 4,650 lumens total - enough to brightly illuminate a large kitchen or dining area. The actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; dimmable bulbs allow you to adjust from a soft glow to full illumination.
Light color and feel
The white glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, even glow that reduces glare. For a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, so you can create a cozy ambiance for dinner parties or bright task lighting for cooking. The diffused light is flattering and comfortable for everyday use.
Sizing and fit
This pendant measures 60 inches wide, 60 inches deep, and 66 inches high. Each of the 31 cords is 20 feet long and can be trimmed to your desired height, allowing for a minimum hanging height of about 70.5 inches and a maximum of 307.5 inches. It's designed for sloped ceilings and is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered patios or other damp locations. The canopy is 60 inches in diameter, so ensure your ceiling can accommodate this large footprint.
