Description
A 20-inch, 3-light pendant from the Crown Point Collection, finished in matte black with clear glass shades, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Crown Point pendant offers an industrial take on modern sophistication. Its matte black frame features intricate knurling details on the sockets, canopy, and finials, while the clear glass globes showcase the bulbs for a clean, vintage look. This fixture is a statement piece that works well in contemporary and restoration-style interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and foyers, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Living rooms and sitting areas, as a decorative accent light
- Covered patios and sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as the damp rating does not cover wet locations
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 15 inches
- Spaces needing bright task lighting, as this is more of an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. It accepts three 100-watt max bulbs (not included), so you can achieve bright, functional light with LED or halogen bulbs. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage bulbs.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, creating a bright, open look. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright and lively to cozy and intimate. Use a standard dimmer switch for best results.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 20 inches wide by 8.38 inches high, with a hanging height adjustable from about 15 to 39 inches. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, and the 90-degree swivel allows installation on sloped or vaulted ceilings.
