Description
A 16-inch one-light pendant from the Crown Point Collection, finished in matte black with a seedy glass cone shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Crown Point pendant combines industrial ruggedness with modern sophistication. Its cylindrical glass shade, hand-blown with a seedy texture, is set in a restoration-style metal frame with intricate knurling details on the socket, canopy, and finials. The matte black finish adds a contemporary edge, making it a versatile piece for various interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung singly or in a row for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing warm ambient light over a table
- Entryways or foyers, creating a welcoming first impression
- Industrial, modern, or restoration-style interiors
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp location rating
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 46-inch hanging length
- Rooms requiring bright, task-level lighting, as this is a single-bulb fixture
How bright is it?
This pendant uses one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), producing approximately 1600 lumens. That's comparable to a 100-watt incandescent, providing ample light for a kitchen island or dining table. It is also compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs, allowing you to choose your preferred brightness and energy efficiency.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The seedy glass shade diffuses light, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient effect. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 16 inches in diameter and 15.25 inches in height. It includes one 6-inch stem and two 12-inch stems, allowing for a customizable hanging length of up to 30 inches. The overall height ranges from 22 to 46 inches. It is sloped ceiling adaptable, with a 90-degree hang straight swivel for vaulted ceilings.
